I express my gratitude as Anishinaabekwe, a visitor to this land, making my home upon this beautiful island, the unceded traditional territories of the Hul'qumi'num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples, the Coast Salish First Nations of Salt Spring Island. With humility and gratitude I honor the relationships between sovereign nations that are alive and thriving.
